Deka Design and Relative Creative are teaming up to host basic furniture restoration workshops in July at the Relative Creative Community Hub in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast. Bec from Relative Creative and I have previously collaborated on furniture and design initiatives that promote a culture of repair, and so are expanding our collaboration to promote sustainable material culture through repairing and caring for furniture. These workshops are run as one-day sessions, bookings essential, for bookings please visit Relative Creative.
Session 1: Saturday 7th July 2018, 9am - 4pm
Session 2: Saturday 21st July 2018, 9am - 4pm
Cost: $225 per session or $440 for two sessions.
